Had to share....

And hope the customer does not see my blog :)
I made a lovely guest book with an odd paper I managed to get hold of. The paper was really lovely but I only had enough for one book so I made a 'special one of a kind' guest book and sold it on auction. Now I stated that this book would never be made again, it was a ONE OF A KIND!!!!!
I am sure you can all guess what is coming next... a lady then emailed to ask me did I have another one as she only missed the auction by 50p! Hoping to give her the answer I sent this question.. 'Which book do you mean?', to which she replied, 'The one of a kind book'.
Oh My Gosh!!! What a star!

Anyway a couple of newbies, sunflower guest books and sunflower themes are really popular at the moment and are set to go into next year too, hope you like them x

Meet The Office Cat

Just over five years ago this little cat turned up at my house, she hung around for a while and was obviously hungry. 'Spike' had a collar and tag so I called the number only to be told that the 'owner' had moved away and the young chappy I was speaking to didn't want the cat. So Spike came to live with us, she was a darling little thing, very loving and sweet and very soon was huge, she was expecting kittens! So one morning I woke to Spike pawing me, I came downstairs and she jumped onto her blanket and within a minute we had kitten number 1, kittens number 2, 3 and 4 soon followed. All were white like their mum and were really cute.
When they kittens were six weeks old I took them to the vets for a checkup and Spike to have her 'op'. At eight weeks two kittens went to new homes and I was left with Bandit and Miranda. Sadly Bandit got hit by a car one night and despite a massive operation to re-wire his jaw he died. Spike went as quickly as she came. As soon as she could go out again she disappeared and although we put up notices we never saw her again. I think she just chose me to be her mum as she needed somewhere warm and safe for her babies.
So we were left with Miranda... The office cat! She is a complete lunatic who goes through phases, she spent weeks sleeping in the pantry during her 'Pantry Phase' and then we had the 'Table Phase' where she wouldn't move from the side table under the lamp. Now we have the 'In Tray Phase'. To get anything out I have to move her, she looks at me with disgust and jumps straight back in.

See what I mean...

Hen Night Guest Book

Perfect for A Hen Night
Just a quick one tonight to show how I used these lovely black fabric flowers. I have shown the book as a hen night book but it could look equally good as a birthday guest book or even a wedding guest book

How Exciting

Today I received some lovely packages full of items for my Prom Night Memory Books / Graduation Memory Books and School Leavers Memory Books. I really do love making new books and have so many ideas that there just aren't enough hours in the day to do them all. On that note there aren't enough hours in each day to complete the orders I receive, demand has been outstanding this year and I am so pleased with feedback from satisfied customers and the amount of return customers we are getting.
Onward get  and upward as they say!
Watch out for the new books, hopefully I can some picture for you very soon

Another Busy Day

Just a very quick blog tonight. Its been a very busy day again for us today, lots of orders coming in and lots going out! Working on new books for graduation, school leavers and prom night. They will hopefully be listed at the weekend. Mothers day books selling very well and more to come, all ready for immediate dispatch so still time to buy.

Weather here hasn't been great today, being an almost obsessive tortoise keeper I gauge the weather on how good it is for the torts! Not great at all, the old guy came into the garden and promptly dug himself  in under the ivy plant and went back to sleep and it was too cold to get the girls out at all. Tomorrow should be better... fingers crossed.
Now its bedtime.
Good night x

Angel Kisses!

I am a great believer in Angels and believe that they give us signs that we aren't alone but often we aren't looking properly and we miss the signs. I think the signs come when we need them most. As some of you know I have been unwell recently and things have been getting on top of me, I really needed a sign and had prayed for somebody to let me know that I wasn't alone. Tonight I went outside to check tat the tortoise house was locked up and the heater was on when a Chinese lantern 'popped' over the fence, I wondered where it had come from but could hear no voices from any of the neighbours. It landed in the middle of the lawn and stayed there for a few seconds before taking off and disappearing into the sky.
Was that my sign? I wonder.....
